Do Modern Nephilim Get a Choice Concerning Salvation?

Based on the fact that Nephilim are here today and a sign of the soon Second Coming of the Lord (Luke 17:26), and in the same category as fallen angels, there are those who believe that Nephilim don’t get a choice as to where they will spend eternity. But in truth, understanding the nature of God, it is inconsistent with His love and mercy.

No-one who has lived on earth had a choice in their conception. Every day people suffer and die because of the consequences resulting from their conception. They may be perceived to be the wrong race in their community, or perceived by their parents to be of the wrong sex, or may simply have been conceived at an inconvenient time for their parents, etc. Their problems arise out of their conception, yet they had no choice in it.

Modern Nephilim also had absolutely no choice in their conception. However, according to some, the outworking of their conception, eternally, is to burn forever in the lake of fire. That is simply not right and denies the justice of almighty God. Deuteronomy 32:4 states: “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.”

To have someone suffer eternally when they never had a chance to choose God, defies what I know, and Scriptures reveal, of the love and mercy of God. Let me point out the inconsistency of what the “no choice for Nephilim” position actually implies.

Satan and Fallen Angels had a Choice

Satan made his choice with perfect knowledge of the consequences should he fail in his rebellion against God. Many believe the angels who followed him did so with perfect knowledge although there are those, including this writer, who believe they were deceived into believing a lie by the great deceiver himself, Satan. They rejected God, they chose to rebel, and they have made their choice.

All Humans have a Choice

Adam had a choice and he also chose to rebel. Since that time, it seems that God has sought those who would choose Him, and, from the time of Adam’s son, Abel, some have. We preach the good news of Jesus Christ and we present people with the choice to accept Him as their Savior. We present a choice for people to change where they will spend eternity. We live in the dispensation of grace where the opportunity to accept Jesus exists to all who will believe. Humans get a choice.

The Nephilim – the Children of Fallen Angels and Humans

If their fallen angel father had a choice, if their human mother had a choice, and the offspring of the union between the two, Nephilim, don’t get a choice, then this is inconsistent and illogical. Satan had a choice, fallen angels had a choice, and humans have a choice. It’s inconsistent to say that Nephilim, the children of fallen angels and humans, do not have a choice.
