It was a beautiful late May day as I was sitting at commencement exercises at the Seminary. Before the day was over I was going to have my first Doctor of Philosophy degree conferred upon me Summa Cum Laude and needless to say I was excited. Unknowingly I was about to receive special recognition as I sat there relieved that the studying, hard work and writing a thesis were over.
As the awards ceremony continued it was time to award the trophy for Highest Academic Achievement. To my great surprise, my name was called. What a day. I was receiving an award for a study and report whose outline was closely scrutinized and nearly rejected by this very conservative independent Baptist seminary when I had originally submitted it for approval.
It all began a year earlier on a Tuesday evening while I was counseling at the church in South Dakota where I had been assigned as a missionary pastor under the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board. I was leader of a team dealing with a victim of Satanic Ritual Abuse. An evil spirit was manifesting through the victim’s facial features and vocal chords. I commanded the evil spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of the living God to tell us by what right it felt it could still inhabit the soul of this individual. The individual was now trusting Christ as her Savior. I might mention at this point that evil spirits are very legalistic. If there is any ground given up by which they still have the right to remain, they will do so. The evil spirit stated that it had the right to her because of the “right of birth” and that “she belonged to it.” I and the other pastors present were puzzled as we had not heard this reason from any evil spirit in the past.
With puzzlement we took a short break during which time I made a long distance phone call to a Southern Baptist pastor friend in Texas who has had extensive experience in this area. I asked him if he had ever heard an evil spirit state the “right of birth.” He quickly stated that he had. He explained that the mother of this counselee obviously had a sexual relationship with this evil spirit and that the spirit was in fact her father. The spirit was claiming the right of birth as her father. He told me to go back into the counseling situation and acknowledge to the evil spirit the right of birth but that the second birth which she now possessed in Jesus Christ had canceled out the first birth. Additionally, the blood of Jesus had been applied to her life which canceled out the tainted blood, and he no longer had any legal right to her.
Returning to the counseling situation I did as my friend had instructed. When I acknowledged to the spirit his right of birth he beamed. I then explained the second birth had, however, cancelled out his right of birth. He was then commanded in the name of the Lord Jesus to depart, and ultimately did that evening after much hesitation.
How could this be? Where were the Scriptural proof texts? I knew about Incubus and Succubus, but in those instances there is no sperm produced. Could an evil spirit take on a human body and have a sexual experience with a human being and produce sperm and a child?
Apparently, I thought, the only way this woman had any right to the salvation of the cross was because her mother was a homo sapien. If her father was indeed the evil spirit then the individual I was dealing with was actually a type of spirit man.
After some initial research and speaking to Christian counselors who have dealt with the right of birth, I was convinced that evil spirits in human form can and do in fact have sexual relationships with human beings, and produce sperm capable of producing offspring. I decided to continue my research for two reasons. First I needed to know for my own satisfaction, and second I was going to use the research as the foundation for a Ph.D. paper on the “Right of Birth.”
I prepared an outline on the “Right of Birth” to submit to the seminary for approval so I could write the doctorate paper. As the committee reviewed the outline I was questioned on several occasions and the final outcome from the committee was a questionable approval. I was told I could write the paper but they would not guarantee it would be accepted.
I decided to write it anyway and if it was not approved by the committee, at least I would have learned greatly from the experience. Needless to say I was surprised when I received an A+.
And there I was, walking down the aisle to receive the award for Highest Academic Achievement from a conservative Independent Baptist Seminary, for a paper whose content was almost rejected. Incredible!
Since that time I have noticed the number of individuals coming for counseling who were conceived out of such a sexual union has increased. And so it is time to address this issue and make public this type of evil we face in society today and which is addressed in the Old Testament both pre and post flood as well as in the New Testament, because time, as we know it, is drawing to a close and the return of the Lord is imminent.
God is awakening His church to the tactics of Satan in these final days. Increasingly there are discussions among Christians regarding angel/human hybrids known as Nephilim. The primary purpose of this series of blogs is to enlighten readers on the subject of Nephilim, who are genetically modified humans, and the relevance of the gospel of Jesus Christ to them.
I will be discussing Nephilim throughout the ages and I am assuming the reader is familiar with the term. I have come to understand that what is reported in Genesis 6:1-4 is being repeated on a large scale today.
Genesis 6:1-4 (NIV) 1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with[a] humans forever, for they are mortal[b] ; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
